A website isn't finished the day it goes live. If you'd rather not deal with it, I keep it up to date: updates, backups, content changes and support when something breaks. You always talk to me, not to a ticketing system.

Updates
WordPress, plugins and themes kept up to date, checking that everything still works after each update. It's the simplest way to avoid most security problems.
Backups
Regular backups of the site so we can roll back if something goes wrong, whether it's a fault, an editing mistake or an attack attempt.
Content changes
New texts, photos, one more page or a seasonal promotion. You ask for the change and I make it, without you having to learn how.
Support when something breaks
If something stops working, you let me know and I look into it. No switchboards: you talk directly to the person who knows your site.
Speed and Google
I check that the site keeps loading fast and that Google crawls it without errors, so you don't lose rankings over time.

A landing page doesn't need the same as an online shop with daily orders. I prepare a tailored maintenance plan, at a fixed price, based on what your website needs.
An unmaintained website falls behind without anyone noticing: outdated plugins, a backup that doesn't exist the day you need it, texts that no longer describe what you do. Maintenance is what prevents that day.

Do I have to hire maintenance if you build my website?
No. I can hand the site over ready for you to manage yourself, with a user guide, or take care of maintenance myself. You decide what suits you best.
How much does maintenance cost?
It depends on the site: how many pages it has, whether it's an online shop and how many content changes you usually need. I prepare a tailored plan at a fixed price.
What happens if my website stops working?
You let me know and I look into it. With up-to-date backups, in the worst case we can go back to an earlier version that worked.
