What I did

Palmapping is Ángel Romero's audiovisual production company in Palma, specialising in video mapping on façades, stages and event spaces, a 3D DJ booth and sound. In 2016 I designed their identity and their first website. In 2026 I redesigned and built the website from scratch so it shows real projects and turns visits into quote requests.

I kept the logo I designed in 2016, with «pal» in magenta and the «Audiovisuales» tagline, in positive and negative versions, and adapted it to the new website: header, footer, favicon and social media image.

An almost black background (#04050A) with the brand's pink (#FF3EA8) and purple (#662483) as accents. Science Gothic for headlines, with a technical feel, and Montserrat for body text.

Outcome

Palmapping launches a fast, bilingual website built for Google and for AI search engines: dedicated pages for video mapping in Mallorca, weddings, corporate events, the 3D DJ booth and sound hire, structured data, FAQs, llms.txt and 31 redirects from the old site so no rankings were lost. The form goes straight to Ángel's inbox with spam protection, analytics use no cookies and the website also works on older browsers and computers.

What's included

A night-time homepage, with the projector running

A custom website built with Astro, in Spanish and English. The homepage opens with a starry sky and a looping projector that speeds up as you scroll. Further down, scroll-driven videos explain how a project goes from the computer to the façade, and the work appears in a 3D spiral that settles into a grid.

Real projects, easy to update

Thirteen projects with their own page: mappings at La Misericordia in Palma, the Alcúdia city walls, hotels such as OD Port Portals and BH Mallorca, and the Can Balaguer organ with Jaume Plensa. They are added, edited and reordered from a private dashboard styled like the website, without touching any code.
