Logo design in Mallorca.

I've been designing logos for businesses in Palma and the rest of Mallorca for over 20 years. I work on my own, with no agency in between: I design your logo myself from start to finish, and you talk to me from the first call to the delivery of the final files. Below are some real logos I've made on the island, each linking to its full case study.

Logo design in Palma

How I work on a logo, from the first call to the final files.

First, I get to know your business

It all starts with a briefing over the phone or, if you prefer, in person in Palma. You tell me what you do, who you sell to and what sets you apart from the competition, and before I draw anything I research your sector. From there I prepare two or three different directions, so you can choose with judgement instead of having to accept or reject a single closed option. Then we refine the one you pick until we reach the final logo.

A symbol that comes from your own business

I don't look for a generic icon that would fit anyone. For Forn, a restaurant in the La Lonja neighbourhood, I turned the O in its name into the mouth of an oven. For Ceibo Group, a logistics company in Palma, I placed a leaf inside a drop that works as a location pin. And for La Golosa, a crêperie in Can Picafort, the icon is the crêpe itself, with strawberries and chocolate. When the symbol comes from what you do, your customers link it to you much sooner.

Made for the street and for the screen

A logo for a Palma business has to read just as well on the shopfront as on a business card or on the small icon of a social media profile. That's why I design it with all those uses in mind from the start. For LavaClick, a self-service laundrette in Palma, we went for simple shapes that could be recognised from the pavement. Ca Na Croqueta's logo had to work both on the restaurant's façade and on the croquettes' packaging without losing warmth.

Price, timing and meetings in Palma

A logo starts at €600, and a logo with its brand identity usually costs between €600 and €1,000. The work takes between one and three weeks. You get a fixed quote before we start and, once you choose the final logo, you can ask me for as many colour options as you need, with no limit. I meet clients by appointment at Homey Group Mallorca (Carrer de Miquel dels Sants Oliver, 7A, 07011 Palma), and I work from Carrer Fra Lluís Jaume Vallespir, 39A (07003 Palma).

A logo doesn't stay on the screen where I present it to you. It will be on your shop sign, on the van, on the bags and on your Instagram profile, and it will be seen by locals and by people passing through. I design every logo with that real journey around the island in mind, not just so it looks good on delivery day.

Questions about logo design.

Can you redesign the logo I already have?

Yes. Many brands don't need to start from scratch, just to catch up. I review what still works and what no longer represents you, and I keep what your customers already recognise. That's what I did with Forn: I redesigned its identity starting from the logo and carried it through to the restaurant's front-of-house applications.

What's the difference between a logo and a brand identity?

The logo is the sign people recognise you by: the name, the symbol or both together. A brand identity starts from that logo and adds the colour palette, the typefaces and the applications you actually use, such as business cards, email signatures, signage or social media. In the briefing we look at what you need right now, and I only quote for that.

Have you designed logos for businesses in my sector?

Probably. In Mallorca I've designed logos for restaurants, a construction company, a logistics company, a laundrette, a gaming company in Inca and a mystery shopping agency, among many others. If your sector is new to me, researching it is part of the process before I propose anything.

Will you prepare versions of the logo for each use?

Yes, when the brand needs it. The same logo sometimes has to work horizontally on a website, reduced to the symbol on a social media profile, or in a single colour. For Incamatic, a company with venues all over Mallorca, I prepared a mini-manual covering every version of its logo, its colours and its typefaces.

Can I start with the logo and expand the brand later?

Yes. With Mallorca Heritage I started with their logo in 2020 and, over the years, their brand has grown with me: the redesign of the current logo, three versions of their website and the identity of several of their developments. Having a good logo first means everything that comes after starts from the same foundation.
