Web Design in Mallorca

Website design in Mallorca by a freelance web designer: sites that communicate and convert, on WordPress when you need to manage it yourself, or custom-built and fully optimised when performance comes first.

What's included

Deliverables for design.

Custom web development

I build your website with hand-written code, no templates or extra plugins, when the project calls for maximum performance and load speed.

WordPress

Design and development on WordPress: the flexible option when you want to manage the content yourself, without depending on anyone.

Online store

I set up your custom online store, ready to sell from day one, without relying on generic templates that don't fit your product.

Landing pages

I design landing pages built to capture leads or give your online presence its first push: sliders, galleries, subscription forms, whatever your project needs.

E-newsletters

I design your email newsletters to help you stay in touch with clients, drive sales and keep growing your database.

Social media

I prepare accompanying images for social networks and social ads that convey your content with creativity.

Which website you need

WordPress, custom-built or online shop: which one suits you.

No technology is best for everything. Before quoting, I recommend the option that fits how you'll actually use the site, not the one that's most convenient for me.

WordPress

If you'll publish news, change texts or add projects often without relying on anyone. I hand over the site set up, with a short user guide so you can manage it yourself.

Custom development

If speed, a very specific design or a feature no plugin handles well is what matters. Hand-written code, no templates or layers you don't use. This very website is built that way.

Online shop

If you want to sell directly: catalogue, payment gateway, orders and shipping, designed around your product rather than adapted from a generic template.

Landing page

If you need a single page with one clear goal: capturing leads for a campaign, presenting a product or launching a new project quickly.

How I work

From idea to delivery, in 5 phases.

It all starts with a phone briefing, where you tell me what your project needs. From that I send you a fixed quote and, if we agree, I design the visual proposal for your website. We review and adjust it together until you approve it, and only then do I move on to developing it, testing it and putting it into production.

  1. 1

    Briefing

A phone call where you tell me what your project needs.

  2. 2

    Quote

I send you a fixed quote based on what you've told me.

  3. 3

    Design proposal

I design the visual proposal for your website before touching a line of code.

  4. 4

    Revisions and approval

We adjust the design together until you approve it.

  5. 5

    Going live

I develop the approved website, test it and publish it.

Built for Google

A beautiful website nobody finds is no use.

Search ranking starts with how the site is built, not with what's done afterwards. Every website I deliver ships with this foundation:

Loading speed

Optimised images in modern formats, lightweight code and deferred loading of whatever isn't visible on arrival. Google measures your visitors' real experience and takes it into account.

Mobile first

Most of your visitors will arrive on a phone, and that's the version Google uses to index you. I design and review every page on a small screen before desktop.

Technical SEO foundations

Its own title and description on every page, a proper heading hierarchy, a sitemap and structured data so Google understands what you offer and where.

Multiple languages, done right

If your clients don't only speak Spanish, each language gets its own address and is linked to the others, so Google shows every visitor their version.

Measurement from day one

I connect the site to Google Analytics and Search Console so you know how many visitors arrive, from where, and what they searched before finding you.

If you already have a website

When I rebuild an existing site, I redirect the old addresses to the new ones so you don't lose the rankings you'd already earned.

Budget

Fixed, no surprises.

As a guide: between €2,000 and €4,000. The exact price goes in the fixed proposal, based on what your project needs.

I'd rather you know from the start how much you'll pay and what you'll get in return, instead of billing loose hours. It's usually split into an upfront payment to get started and the rest on delivery, or in phases for longer projects.

Timeline

On time, no rush.

A website usually takes between 3 and 6 weeks, depending on the number of pages and whether there's custom development.

Urgent jobs

In a hurry?

I can handle urgent requests; we discuss it separately, adjusting timeline and cost before starting.

Freelance, not an agency

You talk directly to the person designing your website.

No middlemen

No sales reps or account managers passing your project from hand to hand. What you tell me in the briefing is what I design, and I'm the one who answers you throughout the project.

Over 20 years in the trade

I come from graphic design and brand identity, so your website is born consistent with your logo, your stationery and the rest of your communication.

In Palma, close to you

Most of the process runs remotely, but if you'd rather meet in person I have an office in Palma.

The code is yours

When the project ends, your website's code and access belong to you. You can host it wherever you like or work with someone else if you ever need to.

International clients

Web design in English for businesses in Mallorca with clients from abroad.

Many of the businesses I work with in Mallorca sell to people from other countries: real estate agencies, holiday rentals, restaurants, clinics and professional services. If that's your case, this is how I work with you.

The whole project in English

Briefing, proposals, reviews and support in English, by email, video call or in person at my office in Palma. My reviews include several from English-speaking clients who describe how the process went.

Multilingual from day one

English, Spanish or the languages your clients speak: each version gets its own address and is linked to the others, so Google shows every visitor the right one. This website works that way in three languages.

Built for Google in each market

Titles, descriptions and structure written for each language, so the English version can rank for searches like "web design Mallorca" and the Spanish one for its own.

A fixed price, in euros

A website usually costs between €2,000 and €4,000. You get a closed quote before we start, and the code and access are yours when we finish.

FAQ

Questions about web design.

Yes. We can do the whole project in English: the briefing, the proposal, the reviews and the handover. Several of my clients in Mallorca are English speakers, and you can read their reviews on this site.

Yes: it's ready for Google to crawl and index from day one, with good speed, a proper structure, structured data and a sitemap. Reaching the top for highly competitive searches also depends on content, competition and time, so I'll explain clearly what you can expect in your sector.

Yes. I design every page to work on any screen and review it on mobile before calling it finished.

Yes. Each language has its own address and is linked to the others, so Google shows every visitor the version in their language. It's common in Mallorca, where many clients come from abroad.

Not necessarily. Before publishing the new one, I check which pages of the current site get visits and redirect each old address to its new equivalent, to keep what you'd already earned.

You can give me your own texts and images, or I can take care of writing the content and the photography. I break it down in the proposal so you know what each item includes.

A template is fine to get started, but it usually carries code you don't use, looks like thousands of other sites and is hard to adapt to your brand. A website designed for your business loads faster, stands out from your competitors and is built around what you need visitors to do.

Yes. When the project ends, the code and all access to your website are yours: you don't depend on me to host it, extend it or change supplier.

Because you talk directly to the web designer who designs and builds your website, with no sales reps or middlemen, and with a fixed quote from the start. And because the relationship doesn't end at launch: I've worked with Mallorca Heritage since 2020 and we've renewed their website design three times.

Both. I design the interface and, if the project calls for it, I also develop the full website: from landing pages to online shops, on WordPress or custom-built, whichever fits you best.

Both. WordPress is a good option when you need to manage the content yourself with ease; custom development when the project needs something more specific in performance, design or functionality. I recommend whichever fits your case best, not whichever is easier for me.

Yes, I build complete online shops: product catalogue, payment gateway, order management and everything you need to start selling from day one.

Not if you don't want to. I can leave the site ready for you to manage yourself, with a short usage guide, or take care of maintenance and updates myself. We talk about whichever suits you better.

Yes, I design and develop websites for businesses in Mallorca, on WordPress or custom-built depending on what your project needs. Most of the process runs remotely, and if you'd rather meet in person I have an office in Palma.
